About the Event

The annual New Year Cocktail Reception that SMF organises was held at Pasir Panjang Terminal Building 3 on 12 January this year, where Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Transport, Dr Lam Pin Min, graced the occasion as Guest-of-Honour. Dr Lam launched the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for Sea Transport, and witnessed the signing of the five Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for the different pillars of the ITM, amidst an audience of 200 maritime professionals.

Mr Andreas Sohmen-Pao gave the opening address, and was re-appointed as Chairman of SMF. Mr. Henry Mytton-Mills and Mrs Gina Lee-Wan stepped down from the SMF Board, while Mr. Punit Oza and Mr. Prem Gurbani were appointed into the SMF Board. Seven other SMF Board members also renewed their term of service at the same time.

Guests then enjoyed a sumptuous dinner spread while catching up with one another.
