Bringing to life the decarbonisation and electrification challenges faced by Maritime Singapore, the ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ-๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ took place from 20-29 January and saw the participation of nearly 520 registered students from 157 teams across various secondary and tertiary institutions.
Integrating complex data sets provided byย Spire, teams had to evaluate GHG emissions at Singapore ports when vessels are at berths or terminals, and also assess the effectiveness of electric vessels in reducing emissions.
