As part of ASMI’s initiative to promote productivity, innovation and growth opportunities laid out under the Industry Transformation Map for the Marine & Offshore Engineering (M&OE) Sector, the ASMI Productivity & Future Economy Committee (PFEC) is organising a series of webinars or seminars on the third Friday of each month to discuss related topics.
This webinar will be focusing on “Decarbonisation Trends, Technologies and Footprint in the Marine & Offshore Industry”.
In line with the global agenda towards a low carbon future, the Singapore Maritime & Port Authority (MPA) has also been actively promoting Singapore as a green and sustainable port by looking at transforming our maritime ecosystem into one that promotes decarbonisation in international shipping.
As an integral part of the maritime ecosystem, the M&OE sector here in Singapore will also need to look at its processes, products and services that dovetail towards this national and international agenda.
In the upcoming webinar, participants will gain insights on decarbonisation trends and technologies that are driving the shipping industry and also learn more on what is installed to get M&OE Companies to begin their decarbonisation journey. The event will feature speakers from Wartsila Singapore and the Carbon Pricing Singapore Coalition (Singapore).
There are limited slots for the webinar. Hence, registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis with priorities to ASMI members. We urge interested companies to register early avoid disappointment.
