In the fourth quarter of 2013, the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) partnered Singapore’s main Chinese newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao in a push to raise the profile of the Singapore maritime sector. SMF worked closely with Zaobao to formulate a maritime advertorial to highlight recent developments in the Singapore maritime scene, such as Singapore being recognised once again by the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO) as a venue for international arbitration, alongside London and New York.
The advertorials featured prominent maritime leaders such as Mr Lee Wai Pong, Executive Director of the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), Mr Teo Choo Wee, Executive Director of Pacific International Lines (Private) Limited and Mr Tan Chin Hee, Executive Director of Pacific Carrier Lines Ltd Singapore. These leaders shared insights on Singapore’s maritime arbitration area and the great use of the Singapore Ship Sale Form (SSF), echoing Singapore’s position as a leading international maritime centre.
The advertorial was published on 20 December 2013. Please refer to our article, downloadable in PDF format.
